The Terror Squad of San Pedro are leading the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship quarterfinals organized by the Football Federation of Belize, as they annihilated Conquerors FC of San Pedro, 4-0, at the Ambergris Stadium on Sunday evening, July 21. Kenroy Wagner’s brace (21’ & 90+4’) led the assault, and other goals from Kaeyden Shay Bowen (34’) and Angel Burke (52’) completed the rout.
In Belmopan at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Saturday night, Jalen Myer’s brace (10’ & 75’) led Napoles FC to a 2-1 win over EZ Griga Conquerors, for whom Shedrick Swazo (17’) had equalized at 1-1.
At the Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Sunday afternoon, the defending champions, Club Atletico FC salvaged a 1-1 draw with Legends FC of Cowpen, when Tyriq “Hammer” Ciego (25’) equalized, after speed king Jaheim Mena (3’) struck first for Legends.
At the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk on Sunday afternoon, Justin Cardenas’ injury time header (90+3’) saved the day for Mi Gente FC of Guinea Grass in a 2-2 draw with the Calcutta Bulls, who led 2-1 with goals by Jordan August (25’) and Wesley Manzanero (74’), after Erwin Betancourt (52’) had equalized at 1-1 for Mi Gente.
