GeneralTheodore Garcia charged for double murder in Hopkins

BELIZE CITY, Fri. June 5, 2020– An investigation into the double murder of Quintin Espinosa, 55, a tour guide of Hopkins, and American national Wayne Burley, 70, who were both shot in their heads and found dead on the morning of May 22, on a farm where Burley lived on the Hopkins road, led to Theodore Garcia, 20, and Ryan Brown Foster, 29, a laborer of Hopkins.

A wanted poster had been issued for the arrest of the two men and a reward of $2,000 was offered for information leading to their arrests.

Yesterday, police announced that Theodore Garcia was found hiding in Belize City and was immediately arrested. Police received information which led them to a house in Dangriga, where items that had been stolen from Burley were found.
