Thomas Donovan, (1927-2020)

BELIZE CITY, Fri. March 13– Funeral services were held this afternoon at St. Martin De Porres Church in Belize City for former Jesuit priest, Thomas Donovan. Donovan had left the priesthood to concentrate on the book and magazine business in the old capital.

The officiating priest was Fr. Timothy Thompson, S. J.

Joe Lawrence was the organist, who also served as one of the pallbearers, along with Andrew Cain, Andrew Barnett, Charles Seawell, Christopher Meighan, and Alton Hope.

Honorary Pallbearers were Mick Craig and Laverne Cabral.

The Eulogy was given by Andrew Cain, with a Note of Appreciation by Alton Hope.

May the soul of (Fr.) Thomas Donovan rest in eternal peace.
