Tut Bay FC and Reggae Boyz enjoyed big wins, while the Survivors FC struggled to a draw in the 3rd week of the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) First Division 2024-2025 Closing Season tournament at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City on Saturday afternoon, April 12.

In Game 1, Jamal Tillett’s brace (58’ & 67’) salvaged the undermanned Old Road Defenders’ 2-2 draw with defending champions, Survivors FC, after Kennard Armstrong’s brace (42’ & 52’) had given Survivors a 2-0 lead – after Old Road’s Thomas Tillett was ejected with a red card at the 33rd minute.

In Game 2, Jaheem “Hammer” Thomas (26’) delivered the winning goal for the Reggae Boyz 1-0 win over Hattieville United

In Game 3, Tut Bay FC enjoyed their 2nd win, 3-1, handing the Kelly Street Bombers their 2nd loss, with goals by Raymond Gentle (1’), Devin Thurton (25’ converted a penalty), and Calvin Thurton (77’). Only Steven Baizar (57’) converted a penalty for Kelly St. Bombers.

The BDFA 1st Division tournament continues with 3 matches scheduled on Thursday afternoon, Labor Day, following a U-17 match:
