BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Nov. 4, 2021 — All six teams were in action again over the weekend with Week 2 games in the FFB Top League 2021-2022 tournament to select a representative for Concacaf League games next year. All Top League games are being played at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan. Saturday’s game starts at 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday’s games are at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Garden City FC and Caesar Ridge FC played to a 1-1 draw. Dion Cacho (51’) gave Caesar Ridge the early second half lead, but Michael Lewis (74’) got the equalizer for Garden City.
In Sunday’s opener, San Pedro Pirates FC played to a scoreless draw, 0-0, with Wagiya FC. And in the nightcap, it was Verdes FC, 2-nil, over Altitude FC with a goal each from Norman Anderson (19’) and Krisean Lopez (54’).
