BELIZE CITY, Tues. Nov. 14, 2023

The National Amateur Women’s League (NAWL) completed its fourth week of games this past weekend and saw participation from all 6 teams in its 2023-24 Opening Season.

Game 1 of the weekend games started on Saturday, November 11, as the Cayo Dreamers FC went up against defending champions Jewel Fury at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan, with Jewel Fury winning 12 – nil, with 5 goals from Khalydia Velasquez (1’,19’, 36’, 49’& 90’), 4 goals from Elva Nunez (4’, 27’, 46’ & 61’), 2 from Jennisha Scott (66’ & 81’) and 1 from Shaylalee Flowers (57’).

Game 2 between Caribbean Tire Women vs Verdes Rebel FC was postponed.

In Game 3 on Sunday, November 12, Napoles FC defeated Sagitun Girlz FC, 1 – 0, with the single goal being scored by Carlene Tillett (21’).

Saturday, November 18
4:00 p.m. – Jewel Fury vs Verdes Rebel FC @ Isidoro Beaton Stadium

Sunday, November 19
4:00 p.m. – Cayo Dreamers FC vs Sagitun Girlz @ Norman Broaster Stadium
4:00 p.m. – Caribbean Tire Women vs Napoles FC @ Caribbean Tire Field
