The first leg in a best-of-two games series for the Westline Over-40 Championship 2022 was played on Saturday evening, July 23, at the MCC Grounds; and it was an exciting match, with Kulture Yabra defeating Medina’s House of Jewelry Pickstock Lake, 3 goals to 1.

Jerome “Jarro” James opened the scoring in the 17th minute for Kulture Yabra, then Kevin Roland scored a few minutes after. In the 42nd minute, Jarro scored the second of his two goals to give Kulture Yabra a 3-nil lead at the half. In the 12th minute of second half, Ramundo Duran scored for Medina’s Lake, but that was not enough, as the final score was 3 to 1.
