“Yellow Man” Audinett threatens News Five’s Hipolito Novelo

General“Yellow Man” Audinett threatens News Five’s Hipolito Novelo

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Oct. 1, 2020– News5 reported last night that News5 journalist Hipolito Novelo was threatened via telephone by UDP macebearer Brian “Yellow Man” Audinett. Audinett was reportedly reacting to a news story on News5’s Tuesday night’s broadcast in which mention was made of “a slew of documents” that allegedly showed that he had “received more than fifty thousand dollars for home improvements, housing assistance and assistance as a ‘deserving case’ in addition to his stipend for House meetings and a job at the National Sports Council.”

Apparently, rather than refuting the allegations, Audinett chose to reinforce his bombastic reputation by allegedly making a phone call to Novelo, during which he made harsh, insulting remarks and suggested that Novelo might suffer bodily harm because of the News5 story.

Novelo reportedly recorded what was said during that phone conversation.
