The males from Buttonwood Bay Nazarene were a no-show and as a result Grace Primary School was credited with the default victory.

In the final game of the day Trinity Methodist defeated Holy Redeemer by the score of 16-12. The top scorer for Trinity Methodist was Joe Wu with 6 points, while the top scorer for Holy Redeemer was Tarrique Gabb with 6 points.

Saturday at the Belize City Center, Week One came to an end with the females from St. Martin De Porres defeated St. Luke Methodist by the score of 20-2 in the first game. The top scorer for St. Martin De Porres was Desiree Gladden with 14 points, while Kirsty Petillo scored the only 2 points for St. Luke Methodist.

In the second game the males from St. Martin De Porres defeated St. Luke Methodist by the score of 25-20. The top scorer for St. Martin De Porres was Winston Reynolds with 12 points while the top scorer for St. Luke Methodist was Kashief Thomas with 20 points.

In the third game the males from Wesley Upper doubled up on Trinity Methodist by the score of 22-11. The top scorers for Wesley Upper were Adrian Lenares and Darrel Mayen with 6 points each, while the top scorer for Trinity Methodist was Akeem Francisco with 3 points.

In the fourth game the females from Belize Elementary dropped a cool dime on St. John?s Primary, 10-0. The top scorer for Belize Elementary was Analiza Habet with 6 points.

In Game Five the males from Belize Elementary blew out St. John?s Primary by the score of 33-12. The top scorer for Belize Elementary was Brandon Bradley with the game high 14 points, while the top scorer for St. John?s Primary was Tyrone Guy with 5 points.

In what should have been the sixth and final game of the day, the males from St. Ignatius got the easy victory as Buttonwood Bay Nazarene defaulted their second consecutive game.

Week 2 in the Belize City Primary School basketball tournament began on Monday November 13, at the Belize City Center with a 10-5 victory for the females of Central Christian over St. Luke Methodist. The top scorer for Central Christian was Sonia Quiroz with 8 points while the top scorer for St. Luke Methodist was Allysha Latchman with 3 points.

In the second game the males from St. Luke Methodist avenged the loss for the females by narrowly defeating Central Christian by the score of 22-19. The top scorer for St. Luke Methodist was Kashief Thomas with 20 points, while the top scorers for Central Christian were William Jeffries and Wincy Lopez with 7 points each.

The males from St. Mary?s Primary defeated Wesley Upper in Game Three by the score of 30-24. The top scorer for St. Mary?s Primary was Alejandro Baptist with 19 points while the top scorer for Wesley Upper was Akeem Trapp with 12 points.

In the final game played on Monday the males from Belize Elementary defeated Salvation Army by the score of 32-12. The top scorer for Belize Elementary was Kerwick Samuels with 15 points, while the top scorer for Salvation Army was Lincoln Robinson with 6 points.

In Tuesday?s action the females from Queen?s Square Anglican defeated St. Martin De Porres by the score of 15-4. The top scorer for Queen?s Square was Anna Pinto with 7 points while the top scorers for St. Martin De Porres were Meisha Gotoy and Shinnel Young with 2 points each.

In Game Two the males from St. Martin De Porres and Queen?s Square Anglican traded baskets for the entire game. In the end St. Martin De Porres defeated Queen?s Square Anglican by the narrowest of margins, 20-19. The top scorer for St. Martin De Porres was Raheem Augustine with 7 points, while the top scorer for Queen?s Square Anglican was Gasman Young with 11 points.

In the third game the males from Grace Primary held off a late surge by Trinity Methodist to take the big 2-point victory, 20-18. The top scorers for Grace Primary were Kijana Moody and Rajeem Baptist with 6 points apiece, while the top scorer for Trinity Methodist was Akeem Francisco with 9 points.

In the fourth game, Buttonwood Bay Nazarene defeated Holy Redeemer by the score of 25-14 in a hotly contested match-up. Holy Redeemer held strong and simply lost it in the end by committing too many turnovers. The top scorer for Buttonwood Bay Nazarene was Ryan White with 11 points while the top scorer for Holy Redeemer was Tarrique Gabb with 5 points. The final game between the males of Salvation Army and St. John?s Primary did not materialize as both teams failed to show up for the game. As a result, both teams have been credited with a loss.

Earlier today at the Belize City Center, the females from Belize Elementary defeated St. Luke Methodist 8-7 in a highly contested and intense match-up. Analiza Habet scored the game high 6 points in the victory for Belize Elementary while the top scorer for St. Luke Methodist was Melissa Williams with 5 points.

In the second game, the males from St. Luke Methodist exacted their revenge by blowing out Belize Elementary by the score of 35-17. Kashief Thomas was unstoppable scoring the the game high 29 points in the victory for St. Luke Methodist while the top scorer for Belize Elementary was Kerwick Samuels with 9 points.

In game three, the males from Wesley Upper defeated St. Ignatius in another close and intense match-up by the score of 22-21. The top scorer for Wesley Upper was Akeem Trapp with 9 points while the top scorer for St. Ignatius was Michael Augustine with 10 points.

In game four, the males from St. Mary?s School blew out Holy Redeemer by the score of 39-10. The top scorer for St. Mary?s School was Ashton Stuart with 14 points while the top scorer for Holy Redeemer was Sherwin Williams with 6 points.

In what should have been the final game of the day, the males from Queen Square Anglican got a freebie as Salvation Army was a no-show.
