Dear Editor,
Discounts for the payment of property taxes were established last month (Statutory Instruments 8-15 of 2013) giving 10 to 30% discounts. The only condition is that payment must be made no later than 31 March 2013. Sounds good, right?
WRONG. The law does not go into effect until 1 April 2013. Was it an error or a Fool’s Day joke?
