ORANGE WALK TOWN, Tues. May 3, 2022

A traffic accident in Orange Walk Town claimed the life of a 20-year-old young man last Wednesday. According to official police reports, on the morning of Wednesday, April 27, 20-year-old Charles Calderon had been riding his green Meilun motorcycle on Benque Viejo Street when a black pickup truck being driven by Ann Marie Burns Hall—a 39-year-old resident of Orange Walk—collided into him. While the truck sustained damage to the front left side, Hall did not receive any injuries.

At about 11:00 that morning, police visited the Northern Regional Hospital, where they saw Calderon in the emergency room with extensive head injuries. The 20-year-old would eventually succumb to those injuries one day later, after being transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Police are investigating the matter.
