There are others that have been taking a licking but we the native Belizeans don?t have the fault. My first question is – where can we take our complaints? Not to the politicians and you know why. One of my ex-bosses told me that his success in business is based on donations to political parties. Once more I want to emphasize the importance of a Neighbourhood Citizens? Committee. Let us not make mistake between a Neighbourhood Watch For The Rich and a Neighbourbood Citizens? Committee. The last one is to find solutions to the needs for the economical poor people. To be economically poor doesn?t mean to say that we are criminals or sinners. Disgracefully, our educational system is an individual and not a participatory one. From ?Infant One? our children are taught to do things individually. This is from when I was a child; today I am 62 years old. If the educational think-tank would have the vision of an integrated unified body of ?Infant One? children working together, knowing themselves and accepting themselves with pride, tomorrow we would have a people proud of their leaders and themselves who had taught them that together we can do things better. But it?s not in the best interest of the PUDP, in other words, the ?People?s United Democratic Party.? Going back to the big contrabandistas and the supervisors of goods and services, they say that ?fisherman ganance are in troubled waters? or ?it?s an ill wind that blows nobody good.? It seems as if the Belizean think-tank did not know what type of agreement to come up with so as to give Chinese their Belizean nationality for the great industry of setting up shops throughout the country. Fifty five years from now you will have some smart persons saying that, thanks to the Chinese, the native Belizeans have benefited by the coming of these people because Belizeans did not know about shops, lottery, greasy fry chicken, etc. etc. Just as how many say today about the Mennonites, they came and invented the Milpa. Our Africans and Mayans did not know about the Milpa system – we needed foreigners to come and teach us. What a shame! And what have the Hindus brought to Belize apart from throwing plastic bags through their car windows into the sea towards the east at the rising of the sun? Let us make reverence to the ?Sons of the Baymen?s Clan? who never brought us out of slavery. Respectfully,
