Politics is a career where a person has to dedicate time and energy. Today our people are more exigent. A politician should be charismatic. Our culture stacks very few of these species. He/she needs the trust of the people; those are the votes he/she will need to get the post. They say that the Capitalist Institutions are also needed, but that?s the politicians? choice. Once in the post, then he/she can hire the professionals to carry out what the people voted him/her for. Another thing a political party needs are youths, because the party will always need fresh, energetic youths to carry on with the objective of the party?s constitution. Don?t try to make the mistake of a biological political party. History has shown us that it doesn?t work in the American continent. It?s anti-democratic. In politics, your enemy is your best friend. Those that you think are your enemies because they tell you where your mistakes are, or are not. Those are the ones that want you to rectify. And go back to what you have promised the people. Let us not make mistakes between a ?Political Party?s Constitution? and a every ?Five Years Manifesto? or a ?Plan of Work?. They are different orders. The ?Political Party?s Constitution? is a book that should always be at hand to teach others about its philosophy. Why should I become a member of the PUP, UDP, WPRM, NLP, etc.? How and why will it benefit my family and me? There are many politicians who are not interested for us to know about our rights because it?s not in the best interests of their godfathers ? the Capitalist Institutions. I do not believe in politicians any more, so I?ll go to the political party?s Bible to find the heart truth of the rights that I can have as a member of the organization. But does such book exist, and if so, who will teach us? From since 1950 until 2005, there have been many changes. Our yesterday citizens are not the same as today. Today we are looking for reform, transparency and an equal distribution of our wealth. Do you know about the ?political party?s philosophy? or you go only by the love of the colour? We have lost the reason of our revolution. We have lost the visionary philosophy of those of the past. Historians say that: On the 6th of January 1950, George Price outlined the ?People?s Committee Strategy? in the following words: ?National Unity ? Strong Labour Unions?. Who can pick up such philosophy and make it today?s reality? An ideological member values 1000 times more than one with a self-interest.
