Elvis Thompson who came on in relief of Wendy Cabral in the 5thinning, walked six batters and gave up seven hits, which included the tying and winning runs, and as a result, he was charged with the loss. Mission Impossible was leading the game at the time Cabral was relieved.

Flowers was joined by teammate Gadsden Ferguson who slammed a solo blast in the 2ndinning and first baseman Stanley Bailey who had a three-run homer in the 6thinning.
