In the opener, BTL (Belize Telemedia Ltd.) clipped HB (Heritage Bank/Belize Kee O La1), 68-67. Top scorers for BTL were Chaka X with 19 pts 6 rebs and Lupito Acosta 18 pts; while for HB, Steven Bonnel had 25 pts, William Black 16 pts, and Devon Defour 11 pts 5 rebs.
And in the nightcap, BBA (Belize Bank Ltd/Airport Authority) got the 59-54 victory over COM (Complex “Admirals”). For BBA, Terrique Gabb had 16 pts 7 rebs 3 assts, Christopher McGann 15 pts 8 rebs, and Charles Armstrong 12 pts; while for COM, Wilfred Richards led with 19 pts 7 rebs, and Rhetton Belisle 14 pts.
