SportsBTB U13 Mundialito reg. season ends; Semifinals this Saturday at MCC

BELIZE CITY, Wed. July 13, 2022
Week 7 games on Saturday, July 9, at the MCC Grounds concluded the single round-robin regular season of the Belize Tourist Board (BTB) U13 Mundialito Tournament 2022. The top 4 teams (See final regular season standings below) will now enter the Semifinals this coming Saturday.
Final Regular Season Standings:

There was no undefeated team in this Mundialito, but it may be a concern for the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) which has conducted a number of coaching programs, that one team of youngsters not only lost all 7 of their matches (some by default), but failed to score a single goal throughout the tournament, which must be some sort of ignominious record, and has to reflect, not so much on the ability of the youths, but on the quality of coaching they received.

Here are the results of the 4 scheduled games on Saturday to end the regular season:
Sampson Academy and Reality Youths played to a scoreless, 0-0, draw.
Belize United bombed Hattieville United, 5-0, with a goal apiece from Shae Gordon, Antwan Latchman, Herwin Godoy, Jonathan Garay and Kaylon David.
Ladyville Rising Stars won by default, (3-0), over Youth & Sports Edu.
And Pickstock FC drew, 1-1, with Tutbay Yabra FC. Brandon Oshon shook the net for Pickstock, while Asher Welch hit the target for Tutbay Yabra.

Below is the list of leading goal scorers in regular season, followed by the upcoming semifinals schedule.
