Blazing Strikers’ Zion Jones scores 1st goal vs Ebony Lake

BELIZE CITY, Tue. June 3, 2025

Belize United is leading the Belize Tourism Board’s Under-10 Mundialito, as they enjoyed their 2nd win in Week 3 at the Berger Field in Belize City on Saturday afternoon, May 31.

In Game 1, Ethan Arias (15’) scored Belize United’s winning goal vs Tut Bay FC.

In Game 2, Ladyville Rising Stars’ goalkeeper Omar Escalante (9’) surprised his opposite number with a long free kick for the 1-0 win over Sampson Academy.

In Game 3, the Blazing Strikers enjoyed their first win, 2-1, over Ebony Lake with goals by Zion Jones (6’) and Judel Chehade (15’). Only Jarrod Tillett (17’) scored a consolation goal for Ebony Lake.
