BELIZE CITY, Wed. May 7, 2025

Ebony Lake, Berger United, Reality Youths and the Ladyville Rising Stars are leading the Belize Tourism Board’s Under-13 Mundialito, which kicked off with 4 matches at the Berger field in Belize City on Saturday morning, May 3.

In Game 1, Berger United cruised past the 4-time defending champions, Belize United, 4-1, led by Zoayen Jones’ brace (21’ & 38’) and other goals by Thomas Henry (9’) and Camron Brown (16’). Shae Gordon had opened the scoring for Belize United in the 5th minute.

In Game 2, Ebony Lake FC crushed the Sampson Academy, 3-0, with goals by Angel Giron (3’) and Mario Ortiz (10’). Sampson’s Egbert Flowers (OG 24’) did not help his cause, when he sent the ball into his own net: 3-0 final.

In Game 3, Ladyville Rising Stars dazzled Yabra FC, 3-2, led by Zayden Brown’s brace (11’ & 38’), after Frederick Garbutt (5’) had scored their 1st goal. Tyrone Guy (14’) and Kyrone Martinez (31’) reduced the deficit for Yabra.

In Game 4, the Reality Youths schooled the Leaders of Tomorrow, 3-0, led by Tyrone Brown’s brace (19’ & 20’), and Harry Barcelona (26’) delivered a 3rd goal.

In Game 5, Hattieville got the easy bye to a (3-0) win, by KP Strikers’ forfeit.
