Dear Editor,

What are human rights?  The right to do anything one wants?  The right to kill someone just because that person disagrees with you?  The right to steal because you want that object?  The right to lie because you don’t want to tell the truth?  What determines human rights?  What is our guide to living so things go right in our lives?

The constitution  of  Belize states:  Whereas the People of Belize affirm that the Nation of Belize shall be founded upon principles which acknowledge the supremacy of God, faith in human rights and fundamental freedoms, ……..

So which God is being spoken about here?  There are many “gods” in this world.  Satan is the god of this world according to II Corinthians 4:4.  And he is the one that blinds them that believe not in the one and only true God— Almighty YAH — and His Son Jesus Christ who suffered and died for our sins so that we could repent  and be forgiven.

Satan would  have mankind believe that one can set up his/her own standards and do what is “right” in his/her sight.  If we become born again and become the children of Almighty YAH we hunger and thirst for the WORD of YAH and want to do what is correct in HIS sight.

There are things in the WORD of YAH that are abominations to the Almighty.  Homosexuality is an abomination to Him.  If people only knew the truth behind homosexuality.  Whatever one looks at and listens to with the intent to know, or engages in that which is wrong in YAH’s sight opens the door for that evil spirit to come in.

Then, that person is compelled to do that sin.  Also, the iniquities of the fathers are passed down to the 3rd and 4th generations of them that hate the Almighty. That is why it is important for a man and a woman to ask forgiveness for all sins they have committed and be born again in Jesus Christ, and break all curses and evil spirits of their past generations before having sexual relations — AND before getting married. AND — they should be married instead of just living together which is fornication and is a sin.

Why is it that Belize likes to do what the United States and other “developed” countries do — before thinking if this is correct in Almighty YAH’s sight?

Why does the Constitution state that:  “ the will of the people shall form the  basis of government in a democratic society……….”     and not have this issue of homosexuals getting their rights  put before the people of this country to vote on?

What happens now?  Children will be affected, disasters can occur in this country——all because this nation doesn’t obey the WORD of the Almighty in ALL areas.
The WORD of YAH states that the nation whose God is Almighty YAH is blessed —AND IF THAT NATION HONORS AND OBEYS HIS WORD.
