We believe that all this is to spite Cordel and Mark for standing up and defending their people. All this is to spite them for attacking the decisions of the government that are clearly not in the best interests of their constituents and the country of Belize.

We stood by Mr. Musa when he was being dragged to court by the UDP and when he was on trial in Belmopan. We voted for him to become our PUP Leader over Florencio Marin, because he seemed humble and caring about the Southside people. And now look at what he is doing to the only two representatives of our party on the Southside.

When Mr. Musa punishes Mark and Cordel, he punishes the people of Lake and Albert. When he fires and cuts off the people of Lake and Albert, he is punishing the people who have supported him the loudest over the last 10 years.

Almost everyday our people are losing their jobs, failing to pay their house rents and mortgages, and struggling to find school fees. While our people are losing their homes, their children are dropping out of school.

Cordel and Mark helped us when they could. No other representative has done for their people what they have done for us.

We respect the representatives for the positions they have taken. If only more of our elected representatives would do the same. Our government would be more honest, and our country would be a much, much better place.

We don?t blame Mark and Cordel for the struggles we are in. We know exactly who is causing our pain. But this is how Musa rewards the people who stand up for him. If only we knew this before.
