BELIZE CITY, Wed. Nov. 14, 2018– International football comes to the MCC Grounds on Friday, November 16, and Saturday, November 17. For the first time in Belize, the Over-40 champion of the Casa will be hosted in a football match at the MCC. The Limers Football Club, Champions of the Casa League in Miami, Florida is visiting Belize to play Belize’s National Over-40 Champion, Kulture Yabra.
The team from Miami is on a goodwill tour; having dominated the Miami Senior League, they plan to do the same to Belize. The players consist of Caribbean Americans from Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Haiti and Guyana.
On both days, activities will start at 6:00 p.m., where Belize City’s best Under-13 kids, City Boys will play Reality Youths.
The Yabra Football Club is asking the public to come and support this historic event. Donation at the gate will be: $7.00 – Adults; Kids – FREE! There will be food and drinks on sale.
