Mundialito semifinals

The Stann Creek Football Association (SCFA) Smart U-13 Mundialito semifinals were held on Friday evening, August 30, at the Carl Ramos Stadium. In game 1, Silk Grass Ballers dropped New Site, 2-0, with both goals coming from Brayden Olivas. Game 2 saw Pomona Warriors and Benguche ending in a 2-2 draw. Aaron Estero struck twice for Benguche, while Annek Arzu and Harrison Roches, Jr. scored 1 each for Pomona. The game then went into penalty shootout, where Benguche won, 3 to 1.

The games for the upcoming weekend Championship round are as follows:

Friday, September 6
4:00 p.m. – (for 3rd Prize) New Site vs Pomona Warriors
5:00 p.m. – (for 1st & 2nd Prizes) Silk Grass Ballers vs Benguche

  First Division Week 1 results

Here are the results for Opening Night of the Stann Creek Football Association First Division Cup 2019, which took place on Friday night, August 30, at the Carl Ramos Stadium, following the Mundialito games. In game 1, Pomona Warriors won, 5-4, over Pomona Impacts. Scoring for Pomona Warriors were Timothy Estero (5’ & 36’), Dorwin Logan (26’), Harrison Roches, Jr. (66’) and Floyd Tillett, Jr. (80’); while Pomona Impacts’ goals were by Dwayne Sampson (4’), Adrian Gutierrez (44’) and Raymond Peters (54’ & 68’). And in game 2, Hopkins Ibayani dropped Silk Grass Ballers, 4-2, with 3 goals from Jahday Estrada (12’, 51’ & 59’) and the other from France Nunez (27’); while both Silk Grass goals were by Nigel Elijio (28’ & 83’).
