BELIZE CITY, Wed. July 6, 2016–A major and longstanding Belizean New York City street figure, from the 1970s until the present, Sylvester Wilfred “Baasa” Webster, died and was buried in New York a few weeks ago.
Baasa came out of the North Front Street/New Road area around Holy Redeemer Boys School. He was the maternal uncle of an original Kremandala Raider – the one Maino Bevans.
