Police are on the hunt for two men who are guilty of having sex with underage girls – one 14 and the other 15 years of age – who were their respective girlfriends. The 14-year-old girl is reportedly 8 months pregnant.
About 6:45 Saturday evening, the 15-year-old girl went to the San Ignacio Police Station, accompanied by her mother, and told police that earlier that day, a man, 20, known to her, took her to his home and engaged her in sexual intercourse.
Police took the girl to the San Ignacio Hospital, where she was examined by a doctor and it was confirmed that the girl had been carnally known and that her hymen had been ruptured.
Also on Saturday, a girl, 14, accompanied by her sister, went to the Belmopan Police Station and reported that her boyfriend, 27, had engaged her in sex at his home in July and August last year.
The girl was taken to a doctor, who confirmed that she had been carnally known and that she was 8 months pregnant.
