Reports reaching our newsroom is that Kyla young, a17 year old Belizean hairbraider of a Freetown Road, address in Belize City was fatally shot. John Peters, a 25-year-old Belizean laborer of a Central American Boulevard address in Belize City and Anselma Flores, a 24-year-old babysitter of Sunset Avenue also in Belize City also received gunshot wounds during the same shooting incident.

Preliminary report is that a group of people were socializing near the corner of Glenn Street and Church Street when they were shot at.
