SportsBDFA “W” Cup Week 7 stats, Week 8 goes to Hattieville

The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) “W” Cup featured two games on Sunday, October 7, at the MCC Grounds. In the first game, Belize Bank Ladyville Jaguars and Caye Caulker Island Starz played to a nil-nil ball game. The second game of the day saw the host team Smart Millennium trampling over Hattieville, 8-0, with one goal apiece from Shanell Gentle and Sherian Tracey, two goals from Kara Kisling, and a hat trick (3 goals) from Gionne Cayetano. To cap off the eight goals, Hattieville’s Kelsey Pou accidentally put it into her own net after a center by Millennium’s Gionne Cayetano.

On Sunday, October 14, two games will be featured, starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Hattieville football field. Game one will see Caye Caulker Island Starz going up against Smart Millennium, while game two will see Hattieville going up against the Caye Caulker Girlz, who have yet to record a victory in the season.
